North Hill Farm is a full service barn offering indoor and outdoor boarding, lessons, day camps, showing, and horses for part-board. Established in 2009 and is situation on 20 picturesque acres on County Road 3 in East Garafraxa. Located minutes from Orangeville, Grand Valley, Erin and Hillsburgh and a short 20 minutes from Shelburne, Caledon, Fergus, Mono Mills and Georgetown.
We offer a family friendly, safe, clean environment that is well managed at an affordable price, that you and your horse will be happy to call home. We are a multi discipline barn with English and Western riders and dressage to barrel horses. Enjoy riding in our indoor or outdoor arena and on our manicured trails. You will find Barrels, Poles, Jumps and Filler in our arenas. If there is something you need and we don't have it, let us know and we will talk about adding it to the arena!
Attend many local shows we can offer coaching and lessons both on and off the property, as well as trailering for our students and boarders.
Owner, barn manager and coach Trisha Howden offers 25 years of experience which includes riding and training horses both English and Western as well as years in the show pen. Husband, Stewart McEachern also plays a big role around the farm from starting all the babies to helping with lessons and camps and miscellaneous farm chores. He graduated from The University of Guelph with an Animal Science Degree and offers 35+ years experience. Coming from a family who was very involved in the equine industry, he was given the opportunity to learn at a very young age about breeding, raising, breaking and training horses.
